Research Study for Preschoolers with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

DO YOU KNOW A PRESCHOOLER THAT IS BETWEEN 3 AND 5 YEARS OLD THAT:

IS VERY RESTLESS OR OVERACTIVE?
FIDGETS REALLY OFTEN?
HAS LOTS OF TROUBLE PAYING ATTENTION?
IS VERY IMPULSIVE?
CANNOT FINISH TASKS?
IS VERY EASILY DISTRACTED?

If you know a preschooler with these problems, he or she may be eligible to participate in a research study which can help. ┬áThis study, sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and coordinated by the NYU Child Study Center, examines treatment possibilities for preschool children with Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Eligible children will receive a comprehensive evaluation by our study team, as well as up to 14 months of treatment—ALL AT NO COST. The study includes parent training, treatment with medication and ongoing evaluations.
